Use these guidelines when referencing Ona Pass in articles, presentations, partner materials, and event submissions. Approved logo files and product descriptions are available on the Ona Pass Media Kit.
Logo
Use the official logo from the downloadable logo package. The primary mark combines the Ona Pass icon with the wordmark.
- Clear space: Keep at least the height of the letter “O” as open space on all sides.
- Minimum size: 120 px wide for digital use; 1 inch wide for print.
- Backgrounds: Prefer light or neutral backgrounds. Do not place the logo on busy photography without sufficient contrast.
Approved colors
Ona Pass uses a calm, school-friendly palette drawn from the product and marketing site.
Typography
- Marketing and public materials: System sans-serif stack (Segoe UI, Roboto, Helvetica Neue, Arial, sans-serif).
- Product UI accents: Handwriting-style accents appear sparingly inside the product notebook metaphor; do not substitute decorative handwriting for the logo or headings in external materials.
- Hierarchy: Use clear headings and plain language. Avoid dense technical jargon when describing the product to educators.
Product naming
- Write the product name as Ona Pass (two words, both capitalized).
- Refer to the staff experience as the Staff Notebook.
- Refer to the administrator experience as the Campus Clipboard.
- Use Teachers & Staff when describing the primary classroom and support audience.
Prohibited alterations
- Do not recreate, redraw, or approximate the logo.
- Do not change logo colors or add drop shadows, outlines, gradients, or effects.
- Do not stretch, skew, rotate, or crop the logo in ways that change its proportions.
- Do not combine the logo with other marks to suggest endorsement without written approval.
- Do not edit product screenshots to imply features, metrics, or outcomes that are not shown.
Screenshots and product imagery
- Use approved screenshots from the Media Kit download package.
- Pair imagery with accurate descriptions from the Media Kit or fact sheet.
- Do not use outdated captures, debug screenshots, or cropped variants that misrepresent the interface.
- The Staff Notebook and Campus Clipboard reflect the current product design; prefer screenshots that show both surfaces when explaining the full workflow.
Voice and claims
- Describe Ona Pass as digital hall pass software focused on a simple staff workflow and live administrative visibility.
- Do not claim customer counts, adoption figures, pricing, endorsements, or outcomes that are not documented in approved public materials.
- When discussing pilots, note that schools typically begin with a focused evaluation of about ten staff before considering broader use.
